The wine is vinified in a pice, or a 228 L barrel and during a tasting of the wine with Valentin and a friend, he explained the difference between a pice and a feuillette. The friend then said he preferred the wine he tasting in the picette, referring to the pice. The wine is fermented and aged in 228 L barrel for 10 to 12 months.
